The mental gymnastics Alabama fans use to justify losses is pretty astounding.

Pretty sure they have a super secret flowchart that they use.....

Did Bama win? yes = best team ever

no  = Did the players care about the game? If not still the best team ever

if yes, did the opposing team have a bye week before playing Bama?? if yes still the best team ever

if no did Saban just care about making his QB look good for the NFL scouts? if yes then still the best team ever

if no did the other team have a crazy play happen that helped them win?? if yes still the best team ever

if no did Bama have any players injured? if yes still the best team ever

if no were there Bama players looking ahead to the NFL draft? if yes still the best team ever

if no is Nick Saban still the coach at Bama?? if yes still the best team ever

if no can I hold your pistol so I can kill myself?? if yes thank you

if no do you have enough meth for us to get so spun out that we think Nick Saban is still the coach? if yes let's party...if no can I get a ride up the street to my guys house? if yes thank you

if no I'm gonna start walking....I'll be back later.

Bama losses beginning 2008:

2008:
Florida 31-20            Florida wins NC that year, Tebow wins Heisman
Utah     31-17            Utah finishes undefeated, #2 in country

2009
undefeated

2010:

Auburn 28-27            Auburn wins NC, Cam wins Heisman
South Car.  35-21     SC finishes 9-3, wins SEC East
LSU 24-21                 LSU finishes 11-2

2011:

LSU   9-6                   LSU plays in NC games, loses to Tide 21-0

2012:

Tex A&M   29-24       TAM finishes 11-2, Manziel wins Heisman

2013:

Auburn  34-28           Auburn plays in NC, finishes #2
Oklahoma  45-31       finishes #6 in country

so of our 9 losses in the last in the last 6 years, 2 of them have been to #1.s that won the NC, 3 of them have been #2.s, 2 played in NC, one didnt (iow's 2 of our 9 losses were to NC losers)

and we have a problem with the hunh?    how about we have a problem with NC teams that have Heisman's for QB's and a couple of hunh teams that finished in the top 6...........hell everyone had problems with those teams

the amount of effort you guys put into poo pooing that team ^^^^ is, as I said before, freaking hilarious

----------------

the only reason you guys even think we're spoiled fans is because everyone is hypersensitive to the big boys on the block, we stand out.........but when teams fans that lose regularly, bitch about what they perceive as having lost to an inferior opponent, no one hears, cuz NO ONE GIVES A Posted Image

and you guys are too goddamned stupid to get that bubble gum logic

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's weird how when you ask Bama fans now they say they knew ou would beat Bama in that bowl game.

Eh?

I don't remember any Bama fans that said they "knew" OU would beat us.

I personally thought we'd win by a few TDs.

I still don't get why so many SEC/Alabama fans were so confident. Saban's bowl record isn't the best outside of his Natty's and that was a hungry Oklahoma team. Also Alabama has historically had problems with hurry-ups / no huddles. This has been proven over and over again, it's the only way to score a lot of points on Alabama.

One of those losses really stand out...hmmm especially when you look at a common opponent we played a week apart like auburn.

a bunch of stats...

So during the next offseason Saban is gonna propose a rule change that says teams can't be ranked #1 or #2 because it's dangerous to the players??
