I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's weird how when you ask Bama fans now they say they knew ou would beat Bama in that bowl game.

Ya, but that was in the beginning.....by the last few hours before kickoff I though OU could hold their own....but I dont think i predicted a win.

Superman?? I don't remember Superman ever trying to change the rules and say his opponents shouldn't be allowed to use kryptonite when fighting him.

That's my favorite argument of all time.
Same one Kentucky basketball fans use.

"We are their Superbowl!!!1!!!"

They also knew they would lose to Utah in 2008.

If you think some gimmicky quick snap it while they ain't ready bullPosted Image will ever get you where bama has been these last 5 or 6 years then that answers what I'm dealing with...

So OU with their screw the sec chip on their shoulder and Utah with their we belong didn't have a lil more to play for?

You see Joe football started pre 1989 this bama team we're talking about has a long long tradition of greatness. Twenty something SEC championship, 15 NC or hell count as many as you like...numbers of All Americans, movies with reference to the bama team...players the crimson tide..

So you see Joe we understand it many times wins over Alabama are better than a superbowl why just look at the OP his team ain't done Posted Image but beat us once.

The mental gymnastics Alabama fans use to justify losses is pretty astounding.

What did I say again?  Oh yea Bammer is the greatest; will win by 40.  How about a little more talk to go with the trash?  We're all pretty sick about that game, the loss to Utah, and the loss to ULM.

Not entheused.  The big 1 2 is though because they get a chance to beat the best team in college football 3 years running.  They totally dismiss Bama's loss.  We probably could call the season right here and start getting ready for a run in 2014.

I guess we need the game though.  I can't get over losing that game.  It shouldn't have happened.  I hope our guys can get up for this one.

Since we're strolling through memory lane though let's go to 2005 when Spurrier suffered his worst home loss in 15 years to Mike Shula.

Wahhhhhh we've only won three national championships in five years!!!

No they used a gimmick that keeps the defense from subing out...which might win some games but I'll go with consistency.

And before you reply there's a reason my team and yours has four times as many defensive lineman recruits on roster as offensive lineman...
