COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina reported 22 infractions of NCAA rules in the past year, seven of those committed by the Gamecocks' football team.

All the violations were classified as secondary, the least serious category of NCAA rules-breaking. The school's report from Aug. 1, 2013 through Thursday was released to The Associated Press through an open records request.

One infraction from last winter involved impermissible iced decorations on a cookie cakes given to prospects. Another occurred when the team laid out trophies and jerseys on a table inside the locker room, which is against NCAA rules since trophies aren't generally in locker rooms.

Does the story say if any of the football prospects were swayed by the sight of those baseball trophies?

Given the dumpster fire otherwise known as Volunteer football, I wouldn't be throwing barbs. You had better get used to it being so dark down there in the cellar. It looks like you're going to be down there a while longer.

Isn't UT 6th all time with bowl wins and 3rd in appearances? USC has won as many bowl games as they have beaten UT (7).

Just like their cousins the "Clemsonites", they revert back to history when their current argument can't be argued. No one really gives a $hit what happened 15-20 years ago chief. I really hate to break that to you, but that has no bearing on this decade or this coming season.

Let's see. USC has won four (4) out of the last six (6) games against UT. Tennessee hasn't been to a bowl game since 2010 and the ones they have gone to, they've lost five (5) out of the last seven (7).

The most recent (2010), North Carolina of all teams.  My God! You lost to North Carolina.... O_o

UNC is the only team in America that has been able to mold a football to make it more "round". Obviously the design worked and was successful against the Volunteers....

Ok honey bun, I get that you have one joke and one joke only. However, you need to know that everything you are saying about UT right now, everyone said to Bama Burn LSU about a decade ago. I know your team has been decent to good in a very down SEC east the last 3 years; however, maybe you should look at the history of football some when you make these weird statements. Every team has an up time and a down time, except for SC who has had all down times with the exception of the last 3 years. You might find it hard to believe, but even in spur dogs first five years he was pretty much just middle of the road at USCjr.

Oh, and P.S.

UT beat USC last year.... sooooo....
