Meh. I just think it's funny that a UT fan of all things harps on about this. The same school that kept someone who assisted in an armed robbery and had a pederast on their team and had 10 or so of their players gang up on and beat an off-duty cop senseless while out drinking under age.

Stones glass houses etc.

I don't know about them, but when we were having discipline problems like that all the time, it was really hard to enjoy college football, and was just Hell in the off-season.

The only thing that helped mitigate the misery of having those kinds of arrests was being able to hoist some trophies; but it still sucked.

It's especially funny considering UT kept THOSE kind of players around. They kept the vast majority of the kids involved with beating the cop and many UT fans on this site even blamed the cop himself for the incident. Just funny Posted Image, in my opinion.

Reserve LB Davin Bellamy got popped for DUI and Speeding last night/ this morning. These defensive guys are really showing the respect for a new DC.

Grantham recruits acting a fool sorta kinda like our RB's used to do. It might take a year or two for his guys to be completely out of town.

Richt needs to make them run some.  That'll straighten them out.

Are you claiming we havent had any issues since we kicked a kid off?

This is starting to get almost comical; when I saw the story on ESPN earlier I thought it HAD to be an update of a previous arrest... but nope, sure enough it's brand new.

You know your program is in a little trouble when the arrest threads start overlapping because they're so close together that you can't end one before others pop up.

Strong has already dismissed 7 players at Texass, with 2 more pending because of felony sexual assault (the school has already removed their names from the official roster); and there are another 5 with cases pending who could also be dismissed. He might kick 14 players off the team before he's even coached a single game.

With about a month to go, could be UGA and UTex going down to the wire for most dismissals; but UTex has a pretty good lead right now.

Mack Strong and Todd Grantham, 2 total F jobs in the end.

Yes its funny. UGA is just mimicking UT under Fulmer in the early 2000's in regards to off the field BS.

Be thankful you were able to hide Harvin and Hernandez from the authorities in 2007 and 2008. UGA aint that lucky. The football gods hate us for some reason.

Just my 0.02

I know you GA fans really don't like being in this type of news on a regular basis, but something has got to give.

UGA is starting to earn a reputation here with players being suspended on a regular basis for criminal activity. It would appear that one or more things are present.

My take...

A. Coach Richt is recruiting the WRONG type of student athlete to UGA.
B. His form of discipline (Running steps) is definitely NOT WORKING!

I know this is embarrassing for the UGA fans here, but if you really want it to stop, you have to start holding people accountable namely Richt. Quit making excuses for these jerk-offs and defending them, I know it's only natural to "circle the wagons" when one of your players is in trouble, but where do you draw the line?

Whatever happened with the players that forged checks from the athletic department and cashed them numerous times? In my opinion, anytime a theft is involved that's an automatic termination and expulsion from the team.

A thief is the lowest form of life on Earth.
