After a 5-3 victory for the American League in the 2014 All-Star game, the Mizzou Tigers in the pros look to continue their track towards October in the second half of the season. Detroit Tiger ace Max Scherzer earned the victory for the A.L in the Midsummer Classic, followed by a seven-inning, 11 strikeout victory, improving his overall record to 12-3.
