CFB fans are so nearsighted sometimes that they seem to miss the big picture... Practically any coach who wins 6-7 consistently at OM, MSU, Arky, Vandy or Kentucky should be more than safe with their job.
Consistent 6/7 win season will get you fired here. That was Houston Nutts problem. We'd win 9, 10 games, then he'd come up with an excuse for us only winning 6 or 7 the next few years. 7 should be the absolute floorboard.

A portion of our fans were getting restless with Brooks before he retired.  Idiots. I'm all for doing what we need to do move up, but don't toss a guy because he consistently wins 6-7 plus bowls.  See: Phillips, Joker debacle. We've got a ways to go before we can get to the point where 6-7 isn't acceptable. Stoops has time and lots of goodwill with the fans.

Arrogant dumbass! I have never done anything in my life no matter how impossible the task without a winning attitude. We haven't had a coach like that since vaught but may have now. Go back to your past losing coach and be satisfied with your 5 or 6 win season.

Rare is the day 1dawg has been more infuriated after a State loss than after that game, and I have had plenty of opportunity to be infuriated in that regard.

Yes, I know this post number three-in-a-row, but to reiterate my point:

Our only three loses will be to Bama, LSU/Auburn, and OM on the road.
