This still going? Cal leads Billy in every category but battles. Once we win it this year there's zero legs to stand on. Not gonna lose sleep over this.

Anyone ever notice that UK/Cal haters always predict him to fail because freshman, no matter how talented won't have the fortitude to win come tourney time. Then when he defies that prediction everyone changes their argument by saying anyone could of had success with that much talent. Completely ignoring the fact that they're still freshman. Coaching that Florida team was a hell of a lot easier than a team that starts 5 freshman. Yet he somehow made to the title game and still gets criticized for not winning.

People just try their damndest to point out his flaws without giving him the credit he deserves.
Anyone ever notice how Kentucky fans always predict 40-0 because of how much talent they have and when they do bad they blame it on having all freshman.

Kentucky fans are always ranting about how the regular season doesn't matter and that only the postseason does.

Donovan has more Final Fours and more National Championships than Calipari.

This shouldn't even be a discussion, according to Kentucky fans. **

Do bad?

I think we can attribute 2013 with having our best player and future top 6 pick in the NBA going down as the reason "Cal sucked so bad".

Are you people going to really make it seem that what he's accomplished at UK in his first 5 years anything short of amazing?

If you're counting the vacated ones.
But they are vacated. So you can't.

Meh. They're not Kentucky's so I'll give you that l.  If we win the title Cal will have 4 Final Fours and 2 natties in 6 years anyway.

Do bad and make mistakes are two different things. Other than 2013 postseason with Nerlens out half the season, when have we done bad? Coming up 2 pts short against WV in 2010 to advance to the Final Four? You're right.  Only getting to the Elite 8 fell short. The rest of you would hang a banner for that.  We dont.  I also seem to remember one of the past two seasons Mizzou was without a couple key players and that was y'alls reasoning for not being very good. Funny how that's OK for you guys to use but when our best player goes down its not.

I'm pretty sure the reason we've done bad the past two years was because of Haith's Posted Imagety coaching.

You had a very poor regular season this past year too.
If a Final Four makes that invalid, then just one train wreck of a season.
Kentucky should never depend on a single player to make the NCAA tournament.

We orginally weren't. Ryan Harrow was as emotionally stable as a pregnant woman, Poythress didn't step up like we needed, etc.  The team just didn't mesh and you saw what we got.

And loved every second of it.

Every championship team in the history of ever has depended on a player to go all the way. If brewer, or Noah, or Horford got hurt before either of those championships does Florida still win? Hell no
