If he's allowed to play this season, I'll be pissed.

And people think Stoops doesn't recruit well.

I don't think it was that hard to recruit DGB. All he had to do was sell him on being able to get a waiver from the NCAA.

Better hope they don't beat you in the Cotton Bowl with him.
Would suck.

I'm not sure how we'll do this season but I'll take another Cotton Bowl appearance.

Louisville or Auburn would have been my guesses.

Nope, it's been OU or a DII school for awhile. Stoops has been trying to convince DGB that they would be able to get a waiver and DGB must believe him. He was visiting OU today.

No way in hell he gets a waiver. I don't see how he could.

It happened to LSU point guard Anthony Hickey.

Former LSU point guard Anthony Hickey will be immediately eligible to play for Oklahoma State for the 2014-15 season, according to the school. LSU coach Johnny Jones confirmed last week that LSU signed off to make that possible.

The former LSU point guard was told last month that he would not play in 2014-15 after three successful seasons on the court, but rocky ones off of it. Hickey's scholarship would have been honored and he could've remained in school and completed his degree, but he would not have been part of the basketball program.

Hickey is eligible under the NCAA's run-off rule that gives a player the possibility of immediate eligibility instead of sitting out a season like most transfers.

In order for that rule to take effect, the player must be in good academic standing and the school he is transferring from must provide a statement that verifies he was not invited to remain in the program.

Glad to see a big school rewarding him with a scholarship after throwing a girl down some stairs and then breaking into her house and then dragging in her friend by her hair... /s

Hopefully he does something with his 5th or 6th chance whichever one he's on now.

I'm laughing though at all these OU fans who said they were lucky they missed him. If he was at OU he would have been kicked out because Stoops is a "better builder of men than Pinkel" and Mizzou would just slap him on the wrist.
