"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

I ask you this: who gives two turds?

Well, try as I might, I can't seem to find any football games on TV.

Since I'm a college sports fan 24/7/365, rather than just from late September through early January, I GAF.

And, since I support the SEC dominating every sport, like we already do in things like football, baseball, gymnastics, etc., our conference suddenly taking over softball from the Pac-12, who has literally OWNED it since its inception, is pretty interesting to some of us.

In fact, I think you might be surprised if you bothered to watch a game; those games are being shown on the regular ESPN and the teams and fans literally go ape-Posted Image over softball... UK fans were literally high-fiving and chanting for the entire game yesterday, and the Bama and OU game was deafening loud, no Posted Image.

Every game has been louder than any baseball games I've seen this year.

UF put on a hitting clinic; Baylor pitching was #5 in the nation in team ERA coming into the game, and UF pinch-hitter Chelsea Herndon hit a walk-off grand slam that mercy-ruled Baylor in 5 innings.

Slim pickens in May/June, but these softball games actually turn out to be pretty fun to watch at this level once the WCWS kicks off... attendance keeps setting new records every year, with average sessions of over 9,000 fans.

Hahahahaha I'm dying right now.
I can't believe she's an outfielder.

But she's just 1.
Bama has like 5 or 6 like her.
