At this point I'm guessing you have Ole Miss and UGA going 0-12 right?

I think they are just getting shots in before their reality is realized.
In 2010-2011 we passed them in football revenues and stayed there. We are "The Man" now, they aren't.

I actually think MSU will be a good team this year and I don't think Arkansas can beat them on the road. The LSU game is at home and Arky usually plays them close.

Sounds like bammer logic. Wait and see what he thinks of my 9-3 picks for MSU.

Malzahn and the HUNH stuff is proving a disruptive force.  Oregon, OM, Mizzou, all these spread teams making up for the lack of talent (or exploiting it) by spreading people out and taking advantage of weak defenses in college football.  Basically the formula is put all the best athletes on offense, spread them out, and outscore the opponent.  There is no doubt in my mind that Arkansas would've been in the top half of the SEC if they had hired Malzahn.

And knowing this makes me not really want to watch college football.

I mean, there is a guy coaching in HS in Little Rock who never punts and always goes for onside kicks. He knows that high school teams are not that solid on defense.  Some may find that entertaining, to me it's like watching little kids shoot free throws at halftime to help score some points.

Somebody needs to have the balls to put the best athletes on defense (looking at you, LSU) and stop this madness.  Or am I just getting old?

tldr rant over.

I've been watching some old football clips on youtube--I am addicted to college football, can't help it--and seeing that Gif in Hail2TheTide's post reminds me that we have some of the tamest fans in the conference. Get fired up. Scream. Don't use the bells as a crutch. Use them in conjunction with your voice.

I know that's neither here nor there in this thread. Just an observation.

@ARfanNmem I like the spread and the HUNH, but they should stop with the stupid targeting and spearing calls and making it illegal to breathe on the QB

There's a time-tested way to fix all this arena football Posted Image. It's called knocking the crap out of the offense

It doesn't bother me what your prediction for OM is. The only three losses I have State down for myself is @LSU, @BAMA, and @OM.
