We are first in line to give out some reality checks, but you guys can be second in line.

Are you mentally prepared for a reality check like last years Miami game should have produced? Miami was pretty injury wasn't it?

We are 1 coordinator and a normal injury season away from 9 wins.
You guys are a complete overhaul, from the ground up.

what 5 teams from last year do you beat?

I will give you GA Southern, cuz that's the swell kind of guy I am

But I don't see 4 more wins for y'all in 2013

Fulmer time was done. He needed to get guys in and develop them for 2-3 years before they were ready to play and the top recruits want to start by year 2 at the latest. When he got desperate he went to the Clawson O that the team hated and they gave up on him. When the top talent will not come and you lose your team its time to go.
true....his recruiting abilities took a nose dive after clawsom...

I see what your saying. I just meant our team isn't as bad as it would appear. Like eastcoast just said we honestly should have beat MSU Rutgers and LSU. But what we didn't now we need to fire Bielema according SECT coaching correspondent @smokeyone

Well smokey is an idiot, so I'm not sure what you expected.
Rutgers was a mess, I actually quit watching because you guys were blowing them out.

I'm mentally prepared for 7-5, expecting 8-4.
Miami was when the injuries started.
You're expectations are never in line with reality, so I'm not sure why I should take you seriously.

From last year?
Miami, Georgia Southern, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Georgia

This year? We probably only get 1 out of Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, F$U.

The team hated the Clawson O? What Clawson O? Look at before and after Tennessee and tell me that offense looks anything close to the same as the one he ran at Tennessee. Phil never trusted him and never let him have the offense, and it's that sort of stupid little political bullPosted Image that backfired on him and got his ass Posted Imagecanned. He didn't trust anyone outside his circle of Chavis and Cutcliffe. Backstabbers are paranoid and he didn't want what he did in 92 to happen to him.

Part of that stems from the fact the players didn't want to run it. You spend you whole life in a proset that works as a player and coach then you bring in an O you haven't seen since flag football and you have 1 year til the draft so you don't even give it a chance. Hiring Clawson was enough to get Fulmer gone. You are right he didn't want to hire an OC and trust him like you have to as a head man.

The offense that was on the field wasn't that much different to the offense from the previous two years. They were both west coast style without a true fullback for most of the time. Very little, and I mean VERY little of Clawson's O made it into gameday. From jump. Which is a far cry from the media hype around here about how great a hire and how well the offense was being received. Fulmer has only Fulmer to blame for where he is now. Amazing that for such an awesome coach, he's still sitting on the sidelines not even being contacted for the smallest of jobs.

It was time for Fulmer to go no doubt. He made a scared hire at OC then was afraid to turn the reins over. He played with the programs future and lost. Most insiders I know say he did it to because the players going pro the next year didn't want to do it and he was scared if they quit on the program he was out. Well they quit anyway just like they did on Dooley.

As to why he hasn't gotten a call, UT was his life and he burned a ton of bridges and had other SEC schools burn a bunch more. Personally I wish we had found a home for him in the athletic department as a fund raiser with very little power.
