Freshman right-hander Reed Scott did not allow an earned run in seven innings of work while the Gamecocks' starting lineup combined for 10 hits and nine walks en route to a 10-1 victory over The Citadel on Tuesday night at Carolina Stadium. Eighth-ranked South Carolina improves to 40-13 and seals its 15th consecutive season with at least 40 wins while the loss drops the Bulldogs to 20-32.
