Apparently you're butthurt about our stellar recruiting.  Rings hollow coming from Urban Meyer U.  And no one gives a damn what you did, you're second place in this league, bark as loud as you want about your little moment in the sun.  We still finished better than you lol.

In what universe is 29-11, 12-6 better than 36-3, 18-0? You lost to the same UConn team we did; if you'd played them in the FF instead of the finals, we'd have probably been in the finals instead.

Just because college basketball essentially mandates that the 2 teams in the finals end the season ranked 1 and 2, don't go thinking UK was better than UF... we punked y'all's ass 3 times last season in every environment available.

The only team UK beat last year that UF lost to was Wisky, and that early UF loss to Wisky was 6 points and came without Wilbekin and DFS available... hell, we had walk-on forward Jacob Kurtz playing 21 minutes.

On the other hand, the teams UF beat that UK lost to were us obviously (3 times), UAr (who you lost to twice), LSU, and USC (of all teams).

So, you can say we're 2nd place in this conference all-time; but make no mistake, no one gives a damn what UK did either, runner-up is still 1st loser... and UK was 2nd place in this league last year.

Only a butthurt Gator fan would manage to find a way to accuse Kentucky of cheating in a Mizzou thread.

I didn't accuse anyone of cheating.
You jumped to conclusions.

Ok, I will be fine if Anderson can keep Fuller, Gant, Namon Wright, and putt together a decent coaching staff. It sounds like Gant and Fuller might stay. You have my full support Anderson, now go out and win.

You can't say this and then vehemently claim that Kentucky doesn't cheat to get players.
Is it so hard to believe a recruit would rather play at UK than any other program right off the bat?

Congrats on a better regular season.  We in no way shape OE form care up here.  I'll be sure to be just as ornery when we win in football and uyou guys go to the sugar bowl. No one will care then either.

No one cares about the regular season. When ppl look back all they see is what a team did in the tourney. You guys sound like Kansas fans who are just as happy with 10 consecutive regular season titles as they are a real title.

The regular season is nothing more than a tool to prepare a team for the tourney.

Precisley.  No one gives a Posted Image how great a year the Pacers had after the Hawks send them home in Round 1.  You beat us this year. Congrats. So Posted Imageing what.  We're so far ahead of you in wins and losses its a drop of piss in a very big, big, pool.  No different than if we were to beat you in football.  The postseason is what matters in CBB, always.  If you guys want to be Ole Miss and make rings for SECT be our guest.

This hire wasn't as underwhelming as Haith.  He's a Mizzou guy, that has been successful, at a lower level sure, but still successful.  I think he will be alright.  I hope he will be alright.

I mean, what's the worst that could happen.
He could be just good enough not to fire, but not good enough ti accomplish anything.

Except, if a change was needed, he would be much harder to get rid of than someone who had no ties to Mizzou.

Yeah, that's a good point. Hell, I don't know. If he can recruit at all, I think he'll be alright.

Posted Image Posted Image Spin it any way you want, a nice little run in the tourney that doesn't end in a title is just that... a nice little run.

Nobody remembers who the runner-up was except that team's fans.

In the meantime we at least put some trophies in the case and broke several records (records UK previously held); but we can all understand Cats fans only wanting to recognize the highlights of a season and ignoring the embarrassing ones.

Bottom line, UF lost 3 games last year; 2 to the National Champions and 1 to a Final Four team.

In stark contrast, UK lost 11 games last year; and 4 of them were to 3 teams that didn't even make the tournament.

That Posted Image's spin-proof.
