I thought Art Briles came straight from a Texas High School program to Baylor.

He was at Houston for a while. They were the first team I remember using 5 Wrs on a regular basis

I've called him "that black guy from Stanford" for like ages now.

Stoops comes from Jimbo and Coker.  He is the chosen one to end the Gator streak.  Won't be as fun when their coach is a high functioning special needs case, but a win is a win.

Not really sure how this works. Are these coaches being represented where they came from, as in the last head coach they were under before becoming head coaches themselves? Because that makes sense with Charlie Strong and Spurrier. It doesn't make sense with Snyder and Bob Stoops. Didn't Stoops and Strong both go from being under Spurrier, straight to Head Coach positions?

If it's more to do with their FIRST notable gig before becoming Head Coach, then it would make more sense for Strong to be under Lou Holtz somewhere on there.... unless they aren't counting retired coaches (for the origins)

No, Strong was Meyer's DC; he went straight from Meyer and UF to HC at UL. Stoops went straight to HC from Spurrier.

I don't think they're counting any retired coaches.
