The running back race at Auburn is still open after spring practice. That's OK. "This time last year we really didn't know, either." All Gus Malzahn did in the fall was turn Tre Mason loose for 1,800 yards.The Auburn coach found a running back quick enough last August in Tre Mason, and all he did was set a school rushing record with 1,816 yards.
