Your problem is Alabama doesn't need to pay their players anymore.

Any team that needs to beg an athlete to play football at their school would make me seriously wonder what was wrong with that program.

I would only let Junior get the free shoes if it was part of his plan to expose the school.

Do I need to bring pictures of players and their cars, rims and suits? Nah!

This website doesn't have enough memory to post all.

Tider wouldn't report them, but I'm sure he'd ban them from something.

Well, actually, the football was good back in the day as well. But having us all playing is just fine.

Great athletes can be any race and it's good we all play together.

I'm grown so I don't play that "no tattling, no snitching" brand of playground cool anymore; I'd probably tell someone... not necessarily the NCAA, but probably my team's compliance guy.

If I'm interested in teaching my son or daughter a lesson about right and wrong, I'm failing him/her if I only refuse the money but contribute to the problem by looking the other way when I had a chance to affect the practice.

I even hate our boosters that are the bloviated, full of themselves, pretentious pricks... thankfully they're the minority and they're hated by the rest of the honest boosters too.

But of course I'm one of those guys that also feels like $30,000 a year in scholarship money plus other grant money, like the Pell, is plenty for a kid who wouldn't have even gotten into a great university if he wasn't athletically gifted.

first off, regardless of whether its a rival school or not, our first duty as a parent is to teach our kids right from wrong, not to go along with the masses and do what everyone else is doing.  that said, I would report the offender.  on top of that, I would love watching my kid play for my alma mater, but if another school offered a better opportunity with play and academics (and that means any sec school including georgia), then I would want him to go where he felt it best to go.
Go Cocks!!!
