You said in the last 10 years......09 was in the last 10 years. They've been bad in the SEC because of Haith.

What's the better basketball job, Tennessee or Missouri??

Definitely Mizzou. Their resumes...

Mizzou - 26 tourneys, 7 Sweet 16's, 5 Elite 8's. 15 conference titles, 8 conference tourney titles.
UT - 20 tourneys, 7 Sweet 16's, 1 Elite 8. 8 conference titles, 4 conference tourney titles.

Yeah, I'd put UAr ahead of LSU, but the rest is right imo.

I don't think LSU is above Mizzou and Tennessee right now.

We're not talking about right now; we're talking about all-time accomplishments that make up a program's pedigree, and make a job attractive in that regard.

UT has been to a single Elite 8 and no higher in their entire history; it's not a big-time basketball program.

LSU has been to the Final Four 4 times, including as recently as 2006.

I think too much is put into all-time accomplishments. Current history, state of the program, and the fan support matter much more than what happened 100 years ago.

2006 ain't a hundred years ago; and the current state of UT's program would put them even further down the list if we didn't include past accomplishments... hell, they're just now getting off probation.

I was also surprised to see how well LSU recruits in b-ball. 2nd best class in the SEC last year(6th overall, according to 247), 4th this year, and they have one of the top prospects for next year.

I am late to this party, but I really think that the dude knows some bullPosted Image is coming...  Probably some booster got caught paying all of these transfers and Haith is bailing...  It's either that, or he just wanted to bail to a 3rd rate school to avoid expectations and still get paid alright since he knew he couldn't get it done at Mizzou.  At least not to the level he would need to.

I mean, honestly...  We had some pretty good guard talent this year and old dude couldn't develop a big man to compliment them?  All of the bigs that he's had that were worth a Posted Image were here before he got here, or Orhiaki's angry black ass....

Good riddance.  Don't let the door hit ya, where the good door split ya.

He is now a level worse than Mike Anderson...  I didn't think that would happen, but...

Also, we need a decent hire.  Alden needs to free up about $2-3 mil to get this done...  No Posted Imagein around.

I hope Missouri and Tennessee go after the same guys.

Vols want Ben Howland for some reason.
