We just landed a big time in-state prospect. Can we not little brother it up for a little while? Everyone knows he's good.

Not little brother-ing it up.  Just pointing out how ridiculous it is.

You know you're quoting Bleacher Report and Al.com don't you? Not exactly the sources you want to use for accuracy.

Additionally, virtually every recruit will bounce up and down in the rankings several times over the next 10 months until NSD; happens every year.

If he has a good senior season and shows out at combines/events, he'll shoot back up. If he stinks it up during his senior year, or if he gets injured and they don't have any stats with which to grade him, he'll drop.

There's no conspiracy here; it's safe, you can go outside without the Posted Image.

All the recruiting sites have him as a high 4*, just a point or so away from being a 5*.

Like I said, they'll be adjusting those ratings and rankings all year as they see more and more recruits in person and on film.

They all have him as the #4 guy or better at his position; but if you're one of those star-gazers who's suddenly unhappy that he dropped a fraction and the 4 stars is a deal-breaker, you can certainly send him to Gainesville. :D

I'm curious, whats your explanation of the lack of consistency in the star ranking over the course of the last month with the same news source?

Will his ranking change?   No doubt,  Water is wet.   Im well aware of what rankings do over the course of the year

Im neither a star gazer or chaser,  Pointing out when things dont look right is hardly accepting of that title.

When will Auburn ever get any respect skip? You win the NC in 2010 play for it last year and everyone hates you... even the recruiting sites... or they're run by dadgum bammers.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban
