Mizzou baseball split its season series with in-state rival Missouri State as it fell to the Bears, 9-0, on Tuesday night (April 15) at Hammons Field. The Tigers allowed 15 hits as Missouri State tagged Mizzou starter Peter Fairbanks (Webster Groves, Mo.) for eight hits and five earned runs over 2.1 innings as he took the loss, dropping him to 2-3 on the year. Mizzou falls to 17-18 on the year while Missouri State goes to 16-17. Andy Cheray earned his first win of the season.
