We're well aware that Couch is our best QB and Woodson 2nd. Lorenzen is 3rd, but Babe Parilli is really the best we've had.

I'll check him out. I'm guessing before our time?

I arrive at that conclusion because "Babe" used to be an acceptable name back in the day, but haven't heard it in our lifetime; but I love reading about the historic legends.

Y'all have a section on your official site about him?

Should.  1950 QB under the Bear.  He's on the Ring of Honor as well.

Lorenzen wasn't elite or anything, GU, but he's better than you're making it sound. I think you're forgetting how much dog Posted Image was around him at Kentucky, in terms of a supporting cast. The fact that he played relatively well with that, is a pretty funny guy and is somehow a mobile QB at 300lbs is why everyone loves him.

To give you an idea of how Posted Imagety Kentucky was during most of his tenure, he had a game where he went 34-53, 406 yards and threw 5 touchdowns..and Kentucky still lost.

These are his highlights from that game.

No, he's no all-time great, but he was a very solid QB.

One does not simply throw towards Cameron Sutton.

He COULDN'T start for Florida this year; we're running a spread, hurry-up offense this year, and that definitely doesn't suit his talents.
At the weight he played at at UK, he could certainly run the Hurry-up offense. If O lineman can, why couldn't he?

I take issue with the thread title.  Kentucky football has provided hours of quality entertainment over the years, above and beyod Jared "Violet Beauregarde" Lorenzen.

Not the hurry-up part of the offense, the spread part where there may be a half dozen or so designed QB runs on every drive, in addition to the running scrambles and rollouts that naturally come with the game... dude would die of a coronary by halftime.

If that was true, the diet and health industry wouldn't be multi-billion dollar businesses every year, and you wouldn't be able to GIVE bran away.

Well, just because it happens to be the trend to be thin doesn't make it bad to be fat. You may not be socially acceptable when you are fat, but that is the fault of society. There have been times in history when it was perfectly fine, even desirable to be fat. That was how they showed the world that they were wealthy enough to have all the food they wanted. And, btw, I LOVE bran.

Who gives a Posted Image about what's trendy; I'm talking about dropping dead 30 or 40 years prematurely... it ain't okay to be fat, unless it's unavoidable, like a pituitary or other glandular problem.

It's also not very fair to your loved ones who'd be crushed by your premature passing.

And you need to practice what you preach, little miss "Oh my God I'm getting so fat!!!!!" the instant her weight reaches 3 digits... you obsess about weight just like most typical females. ;)
