I was researching recent expansions and apparently the B1G was still working on Mizzou and Kansas well into 2013 a year after our SEC debut and thought that was possible and thinks it's possible in the future.  I can't believe they honestly think we'd leave the SEC for them. Sorry, but that ship sailed, we're FULL members of the most powerful conference in the country. Thanks for your interest though.

8:00 is where you should start listening.

Not a chance. We're in the best possible position and leaving would be insanely dumb. Just look at the other schools that have left the SEC, Sewanee, Georgia Tech, and Tulane. Once you leave, there's no where to go but down.

That article is from May of 2013. Gee may well have thought there was still a possibility at that point; but that guy has been amusing us for years with his inflammatory, and frankly, ignorant remarks.

His mouth is what got him forced out at tOSU. He's now the president at WVU, where the expectations aren't quite so high.

What's ironic is after making fun of SEC academics, he's now the president of a university that is the annual dumping ground for SEC-recruited athletes who couldn't qualify academically to get into SEC schools.

Once in the SEC,being kicked out is the only way to leave. No team in this conference is leaving by their own choice.Every team is working to get better, that's what this is all about.
