Okay y'all just chill. Its TMNT, not Wes Anderson's new Focus Features production starring Ralph Fienes.

Its TMNT FTLOG.

It's like making a Batman movie and instead of calling him Bruce Wayne you call him Salami Joe.  It's criminal.

Lol. That's pretty funny.

Side note: what I really hated about transformers is how they turned merciful, honorable optimus into a rampaging murderous psychopath.

Yes, Optimus' disposition was but one of the many terrible flaws in that franchise.  They gave a bunch of monkeys the keys to the car and got a crap product.

I for one am shocked that a movie about giant martial artist turtles will not be a paragon of high culture. ..

Shredder isn't Oroku Saki in this reboot.  His name is Eric Sachs.  Like ball sachs........big, hairy, ball sachs.

I hate this movie already.

As always, nova expresses what Im trying to say in a more eloquent and classy manner.  Hence my annoyance at someone bitching about it.

I think what you guys miss is, as childish as it may appear on the outside, stories like TMNT and Transformers actually have a strong mythos.  Certainly more plot potential than just throwing Michael Bay-ish explosions and CGI at it and calling it a day.

Shredder actually wins this one. All you folks will be sitting there with your jaw at your ankles. That is until you wait for the extra long credit scroll to end and you find out they sequeled it to double their money from yo ass. That Posted Image started with Harry potter and they are doing it more and more.

Leonardo will slice shredders spikey arm off and Michaelangelo will catch it mid air and thrust it through shredders eyes. Splinter will watch approvingly and say something like "today you die". This is how Bay rolls.

yall think this is bad, wait till ben affleck shows us his latest batman impression. i for one think its unfair to give affleck a shot at being the "star" of two superhero genres.  daredevil was his shot....now everyone will be confused when he shows up as batman.  they may be working so hard to remove the affleckness about it, it may not be that bad....time will tell.

still, nothing could be worse than "batman and robin", so at least we can feel somewhat assured the series wont get THAT bad.

Either way. Michael Bay is associated with it.

Agreed, it doesn't matter what his role is, his stain is stamped all over it.  Look at the scene where Megan Fox sees Leonardo for the first time.  Look at the scene where Megan Fox and Shia Lebuf (however you spell his name) see Optimus Prime for the first time.  It's the same damn scene.
