When Allen was finally healthy, and even then he wasn't 100%, he finished the last three games completing 60% of his passes. Not a ton of yards but we had no legitimate deep threat at all. DB's were able to sit on routes the entire season because we had nobody that could go over the top. That will be rectified this season, with Demetrius Wilson back. He's 6'3" plus with great speed. He would have helped tremendously last year.

And while Peavey IS on campus already and going through spring practice, he's not going to be the starter. But I could envision him getting a special package designed for him. And I'm not quite ready to rule out Austin Allen either. There are 3 4* QB's on the roster right now.

Speaking of tons of talent at one position. Am I wrong here or do I think they should keep Marshall at running back and find a way to get that kid the ball? What did he average, 8 yds per carry or something?

I remember them saying something about him returning to the secondary, but man... he impressed me more than Williams/Collins in some ways.

He is staying on offense. At least that's what they said going into spring practice. He's an excellent change of pace back and a home run threat, but he's not a dominant everydown RB like Collins and JWill can be.

Though our secondary sucks,we need 3 running backs and Marshall has the speed to take it to the house.

I also have to give Allen the benefit of the doubt because of his injury last year.It would be unfair to not give him a chance while healthy.

One of my biggest concerns about last season was the WTH play calling that went on.We'd be moving the ball well on the ground then pass pass pass punt.Somebody needs to get their head out of their butt and go with what's working, this team was too fragile for setbacks.Hopefully that will be remedied.

We have a new d-coordinator this year too,so maybe that will help.

I'm not making any bold predictions, but I feel we'll be better.I just hate Ole Miss is going undefeated this year cause I'd like to think that could be a win.oh well.

I'll gladly take a sig bet to be banned for life if Arkansas doesn't win 1 sec game next year. We may not make a bowl game but we will be improved.

I totally get the thread. That schedule is awful. Even the OOC games are against good teams (though NIU was probably all about their QB).

Someone made the point about new QBs and I think that's an important point. SEC was full of veteran QBs last year.

How many wins do I expect? 5 or 6. And that is assuming the players are developing. And if they aren't, well, that's on the coach. But barring a 2 win season he will be here in 2015.

6-6, unfortunately. Still a year away from being moderately successful.

I think Arky gets a W or three in the SEC this year. OM, aTm, are toss ups and this is the SEC anything can happen.

Why is everyone so hard on CBB? I do believe it'll be tough to beat teams in the west like Bama and LSU running the same system with inferior athletes but it's still to early to think he wont win. He won at Whisky and I don't care what anyone thinks the pro style is the most consistent. He deserves a few years..
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

IMO CBB will be successful here. Of course, that's just my opinion. Only time will tell, and he's got a couple years left. As long as he doesn't go o-fer this season, that is...
