SEC teams that will have to replace starting quarterbacks are Missouri, South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Georgia. Missouri, with Maty Mauk, and South Carolina, with Dylan Thompson, figure to be in the best shape of the bunch.
A & M is probably in the worst shape behind Georgia, Alabama, and LSU.  Replacing A. J. is a huge problem for Bama, but both Bama and LSU have great running games that will help alleviate their QB problems, and Georgia should have Gurley back close to 100% which will help the Dawgs.  It's gonna be interesting!

AJ will surely be missed but I look forward to the future with the talent coming in at QB. We're finally gonna get to see some 5* talent pass and handoff to some 5* talent.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

I hope we replace Brandon Allen. I don't buy that hurt shoulder Posted Image. This isn't 1985, to play QB you can't just hand off and pitch.
I am sure he is a nice guy but the kid cannot play quarterback at this level.

I can't wait to see how our QB battle plays out. You can't replace a Johnny Manziel but I think we will end up okay.

Mizzou is in the best shape, by far I think.  We'll be mid pack with Mason, anxious to see what he's got now that the job is his.

According to coaches and players Dylan Thompson is no doubt becoming the leader of our team. SC will be more balanced in 2014

You guys haven't heard.... the preseason Driskel hype has already begun

He's "distancing himself from the other QBs"

The only thing Driskel will be distancing himself from is fans after the games this year

This is something that sometimes I like and sometimes I don't about Sabans system. Maybe Kiffin makes some changes but what I like is the game isn't in the qb's hands mostly handoffs or short passes out of play action and no real run threat but what I don't like is sometimes I'd like to see someone sling it around more.

Bama has won two NC with first year starters the talent we have coming in is much better than those guys I feel pretty confident we'll have another name by December.

Is Coker strictly a pocket passer? I wonder if he has any scrambling ability

As much as I hope you are wrong, I cannot disagree. I hope we're both wrong. I think he's got the tools, but not what it takes in-between the ears.
