Of the 21 recruits he's had just since bein at UK im sure Donovan was recruiting more than just one. Knight and Randle are two right off the top of my head.

Those are the only two we've gone head-to-head and were actually in it seriously.

I was referring to Brandon Knight's mother magically getting a job in Lexington that paid about twice what she had been making before.

I would love to know what some SEC coaches thought of Coach Cal. It'd be interesting

As a coach I would imagine they are grateful he is keeping Kentucky at a beatable level.

As a person I would imagine he is ok.

I would agree that it would seem sketchy if Coach K and Duke weren't the first ones to pull it off. Besides, we needed him by any means necessary

What does Duke have to do with anything?

I still believe WCS and Mickeys ability to come from the weak side and block shots as well as frustrating their man trumps all other SEC defenders.

I would agree that those guys' shot-blocking ability is impressive; but would argue that both guys benefit from their team's ability to keep 2 center-sized guys in the game almost at all times, especially UK, with Randle, WCS, and Johnson.

That enables 1 guy to cover the other team's center while the other center/forward tees off on shooters in the paint.

Young is counted on to pretty much do all that by himself, as our taller forwards don't play that role... Yeguete isn't athletic enough to be a shot-blocker at all; DFS is more like a tall wing who's frequently out on the perimeter setting up for 3's; and while Prather can jump out of the building, he's still only 6'6" and has a slight build.

Aren't they considered the beacon of sanctity in CBB?

I'd cast that vote for Florida or Michigan State.

Might be a conflict of interest there.

Nope. I just think people give duke too much credit as a clean program.
