Top ranked South Carolina belted out a season-high 18 hits with sophomore infielder DC Arendas driving in a career-high five runs and four Gamecock pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout as Carolina defeated Brown 13-0 in game one of a doubleheader at Carolina Stadium. South Carolina improves to 13-0 on the year while Brown drops its first game of the season.
