Now I'm certain you've never seen one of our games.

I'm glad after watching Mason play like crap against a trash defense that you are so confident.

Ive seen more than my fair share of UF games. Even let my brother talk me in to entering the swamp for the Vandy game two years ago. Bought his GF and himself season tix, and then split. Not one of the greatest times of my life, And of course the last 6 UGA vs UF games. The last 3 from the first row.

Which trash defense are you talking about GT or Nebraska?

It doesn't matter.
Point is that you are ignorant about Driskel's skills and weaknesses.
Which is fine, I wouldn't expect opposing fans to know everything.

What is certain though is that Georgia will underachieve relative to their recruiting and expectations, while Florida has a chance to surprise or disappoint. But at least we have a chance.

GT's defense is sorry. We shredded them with our sun-belt level OL and no good running backs.

What am I missing with Driskel? You actually think hes a decent passer?

Underachieve.... define it.

Noone expects to make it to the playoffs with a first year QB. At least I don't. Even with Gurley and the stable of WR's we have, our defense wont be dominant enough to get Mason the ball a ton and he doesnt have the seat time to handle big time situations.

That said and looking at our schedule. 9-10 wins is surely achievable.

Im not saying they were good. Just wasnt sure what defense he was talking about.

Regardless. Mason was sacked 5 times (yea i know Posted Imagety) but also threw for 300 yards in his first start and as win in double OT

Driskel was average without any respectable WRs and the worst OL I have ever seen, but you are making him out to be a total scrub.

I think it's reasonable to expect UGA to hit 9 or 10 wins.
Which means they will get about 7 or 8.

Eh. You pay attention to him much more than I do, i just havent seen anything special from him.

If we stay healthy i think we put up at least 9 wins. Not unrealilistic for a new QB regardless how long hes been in the program.

Joe, Driskel sucks. It's time to move on. He is just bad. He has Aaron Murray level brain farts once or twice a quarter and rarely shows any flashes of brilliance.

You guys sucked last year.
Fortunately there were certain teams that were total abominations to keep the spotlight away.

Right like USC and LSU

Being riddled with injuries doesn't mean you suck. Unless your UF where you sucked from the get go
so now, according to you Carolina was an abomination even though they finished at #4.  if we were so bad, how do you explain georgias ranking?

View PostDawgfan4life24, on 05 March 2014 - 08:09 AM, said:

Not really. Solid offense based around a great running game. HOPEFULLY improved defense. Really can't be much worse than it was last year.
oh yes it can...

This makes me seriously doubt you've ever seen one of our games.
of course he hasn't, hes a Georgia fan.  they only watch their own games and then pretend to know everything about every other team!

that's because he had to throw! not enough time to run the ball!

There is a difference between suck and struggle. Lots of teams struggle when the strengh of their team is gutted, but only some of them struggle enough to lose to a d-1aa team, which is my idea of suck.

You do realize that y'all have serious questions on defense just like they have serious questions on offense, right?

Our D has question marks, but its shown more potential than the UF O and returns more starters.
