I didn't know The Big Hurt went to Auburn. This looks like a pretty sweet documentary about Bo, Barkley, and Thomas.

I always had a lot of respect for Frank Thomas cuz like my boy Griffey he got it done in the steroid era without using PED's.

Maybe I can give an outsiders perspective....

I grew up in Seattle, WA and lived there for my first 32 years of my life before moving to Louisiana to work off shore for the last 5 years. I grew into this cajun culture and embraced the SEC once I started watching just how much better the football is in comparison to the finesse Pac 12 style of play.

I've learned so much about the SEC from this board and a bunch in the last day of watching the SEC Network.

* The Sylvester Croom documentary. I remember hearing about it back in Seattle and literally not even giving a Posted Image. I thought, whatever, a black guy coaching football....what else is new? That Posted Image has been going on where I lived my whole life. Than I saw the documentary and I learned why it was such a big deal in the SEC.

* I actually played soccer my whole life, even got a college scholarship. I knew who Abby Wambach was on the Womens National Team but didn't know her story about North Carolina/Florida dynamic. I enjoyed the history lesson and her story.

*The 3 hour kick off was pretty cool and I learned a bunch about the conference. I thought I knew a lot of it, but the graphics, the references, and the statistics were nice to see on a big screen TV. Tim Tebow still concerns me as an "analyst" but I'll give him a wait and see before I form an opinion.

*The Texas A&M little dance thing they do was super lame. As a Seahawk fan whom my team supposedly stole the 12th man moniker from A&M, all I can say is I'm glad we don't celebrate it with that corny :lanekiffin:in dance. That was super  gay A&M.

*The last thing just shows that it has become my go to channel. My girlfriend and I sleep with the TV on. Its just something I've done since I had a TV in my room as a kid. I used to fall asleep with Sports Center on every day since I was probly 12 years old. Well I think it will now be the SEC Network. I woke up last night at 2 or 3 to take a piss and guess what was on. I knew it immediately. Alabama vs. Georgia in the SEC Title Game from a couple years ago. I would have stayed up cuz it was an awesome game, but I had to get some sleep.

I'm hooked lined and sinkered. SEC Network is a learning tool for me and when nothing else is on I want to watch well ten eighty two 1082 is what I punch in the remote.

This is absolutely beautiful! I no longer live in the SEC region, but I miss it every day!

Nah- we'll just get ol' L.A. hopped up on Metamucil and switch out possum's white lightnin' with five-hour energy.

I might need SEC rehab. Earlier before the girlfriend made me shower and do Posted Image today....you know the whole Bed Bath and Beyond, Sams Club run I saw Saban back at LSU winning his first National Title at LSU. Come home and see Matt Flynn (former Seahawk) and LSU stomping Ohio State in the Natty.

Can't avert my eyes.

Him and Tebow both did a decent job I thought.  I expect they'll get better as time goes on.

Lets hope - Tebow for sure. He looked like he was trying WAY too hard......

My wife said he should have stuck to being a quarterback. I laughed and told her he wishes he could.

It's included in America's Top 120 Plus package and higher. Is it still not coming through?

It just "Poof" showed up. I just thought it was weird that they waited until it went live to even show a channel 404.

The Verizon deal pushes the SEC Network's availability to close to 100 million subscribers nationally. The network launched Aug. 14.
