That game was so damned frustrating. The Gators were terrible. If we had any offense AT ALL, we could've won

Nope

I don't really agree with televising high school football.  Puts too much pressure on those kids IMO.

I don't ever see anything like that happening in the south. HS football is huge in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas all the south really... in the last 10yrs its also turned into big business.

Even in a state like Alabama with teacher cuts, consolidation, and whatnot there are multiple 6 figure head football coaches. Coaches that only coach football too nothing part time with other sports or American history and math.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

I like the current weekday football schedule they have/have had the past 5 or so years. The games between MAC teams and the like, while maybe sounding boring, are actually usually pretty damn entertaining. It's a good filler for waiting for the weekend.

No need to televise SEC games on Fri. nights, except on opening weekend when we get 5 days of college football. Wouldn't want it to become a weekly thing though. If they're worried about making more money they should be more considerate of scheduling. Some weeks there is only one good game, and other weeks there are so many you can't keep up with or watch them all. Do more to spread out the good games and you won't have to worry about getting ratings on a Friday night.

I don't watch Thursday night games

You could DVR Keeping up with the Kardashians if you need to see the new episodes that badly.
