From what I was told Phil's trailer is their old house and now camp. Evidently they have a big house elsewhere

My family knows some of the swamp people cast. It's not all fake or scripted. All of those guys have been catching gators for a long time. But they make them wear the same clothes everyday and cut the film up quite a bit to make the show. But it's real
It is indeed real. But the house they show is Troy Landry's is his camp as well. he's a well known gator hunter, but he also owns one of the largest crawfish operations in Louisiana. Dude is loaded.

I was watching the other night and wondered how it could stay rated like it is when they had the gator queen hanging off the front of the boat in the razorhead position holding a gator?

If you look at the cut-a-ways of Kay one on one with the camera, you can see in the background that the house she is speaking in is different from the one the show is filmed in.
Hail State anyway.

Speaking of crawfish...it's about that time again. Nothing like some beer, crawfish, corn and potatoes.
