I wouldn't count on Auburn having trouble running the ball because Mason went pro.

Returning rushing yards:

Marshall 1,068 yards
Grant  647 yards
Payne 610 yards
With just those three that's 166 yards a game returning.

Ford  4-star RB recruit moved to CB this last year because of depth issues. In very limited action at RB averaged 12 yards a carry.

Barber a big bruiser of a RB redshirted. Catches the ball well out of the backfield.
Thomas #3 RB in the nation arrives this spring as does another bruiser in Pettaway

I think we will be fine in that area.

Fine? Yes.   As good? Probably not

our backup Dylan Thompson is probably the only backup in the league with legitimate experience against division one opponents, plus hes been in the system for several years now vs Georgia loses their qb

while clowney was a star, what we lost in star value well make up for in solid depth.

Harris 1 sack, 1 TFL
Dixon 0 sack, 1 TFL
English 0.5 sack, 2.5 TFL

you return a defense that was awful last season,

Our D was certainly better than your D when we met up last year.

Still will struggle.
I'll be surprised if we somehow manage to win six games. While we had a fantastic recruiting class that does not guarantee us having a good season. Never mind the fact we basically lost our entire O-Line and D-Line. We have no returning starters on the Offensive line or the Defensive line for that matter.  This is Butch's second year and we have another brutal schedule. When you look at UT'S situation it's gonna be at least another if not another two years before we can start making any type of noise anytime soon. I'm a Tennessee fan but at the same time i know that we have a long way to go....

Not many UT fans are as level headed as you are. So refreshing to see.

I like how everyone brings up UGA's ?s without bringing out that of our competition

1. SC loses their QB as well.... and some guy named Clowney... other losses too I'm sure but don't care enough to look

2. UT? The only team in the SEC to not return any starter on either line + we play them in Athens. I think people for some reason let last seasons game play too much a part  in predicting this year. We were dropping like flies, they got a couple of big breaks/ easy TDs, and the stadium was loud for the first time in years. (it was worth the nail-biter seeing the faces in Neyland)

3. UF.... enough said

4. AU lost their best RB since Bo and we get them in Athens

Every single team we play has just as many questions if not more........ the only team I see on our schedule who I might PREDICT a loss to is SC or AU, maybe both. Not saying we won't potentially lose more than 2 games but at this point in time there is no logical reason to pick any other teams against us

1.  Spurrier is the reason you'll lose to the Gamecocks.
2.  Richt is the reason Tennessee will beat you this year.
3.  Even Muschump will have your number this year.
4.  Malzahn will fluster you between the hedges with his high-flying offense.  You'll lose big.

Beware: The misguided mignons of political correctness abound at SECTALK!

I think the Dawgs will put the smackdown on Clemson. They will ride Gurley all year, if he can hold up they will have a pretty typical year. I hope they do, Gurley is from NC, I root hard for him.

1. We've beaten Spurrier plenty at SC
2. lmao
3. You do realize to "have someone's number" you have to have beaten them at least once already, so this just doesn't make any sense, right on par for you..
Seriously, don't Geaux there
4. Maybe, I'll give you that one but even a blind squirrel finds a nut (you'd be the blind squirrel in this instance)

So 25% of one post of yours had some validity, you're getting there
