"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

The Texans are excellent in all areas except quarterback, no way in hell they use it on Clowney when they already have an excellent defense, they are literally a decent QB away from being a contender.

I cant remember who, but one of the nfl coaches was quoted as saying hed be scared to take clowney with the first pick, but he more scared not to take him. the fact of the matter is that no matter how you want to try and downplay him, the boy is an absolute stud, and one of those players that simply doesn't come around that often.  whether or not a team plans to keep him, there is trade value with him. that paired with the fact that there isn't a star qb the like of Andrew luck or cam newton, means that youll get about the same caliber of qb through probably the first 4 rounds of the draft at least.

like I said the Texans also have the first pick of the second round, that they can trade up with or take a qb then.

Step 1.Texans take clowney and pair up with Watt for the most amazing pass rushing duo in the league and can get a qb somewhere else who just has to be above average to be in the playoffs, browns trade up for Manziel, Jaguars avoid the tranwreck of Maziel.

Step 2.???????

Step 3. Profit

I'd go with Clowney. More of a sure pick. The Texans have like 79 draft choices this year. I expect they'll use them to trade back into the first round to try and get the QB they want.

Clowney with Watts is a no brainer. They should also trade for Kirk Cousins in Washington and they become a legitimate contender instantly.

RG3 is too fragile. I doubt they'd let him go.

I bet they're leaking this to try and trade down with a team who really wants him.

Bridgewater would get KILLED they way we block. He will be right on the bench with RG3 because they have been broken.

THink about this.  JJ Watt and Clowney ....rushing Bridgewater, with our sorry ass blocking....
