I go to the same gym as Dee and you can rip what he said but you can't touch his physique. He works harder than anyone I've ever seen. He did his own circuit training after the assigned conditioning.

And yet he didn't lift today....

I don't think his group has gone yet. Even if he doesn't he will at our pro day.

If you look at Clowney and Ford on film and ask yourself "Who plays with more sound technique and a more active motor?" it's Ford by a mile and that's what he was trying to say. He has active hands, he can convert speed to power and is amazing at jumping snap counts. NEVER takes a play off.

I'm more disappointed that he took a shot at the NFL scouting process while being at THE NFL scouting event.

Ford probably is a beast in the weight room.....but I wouldn't say he has better technique "by a mile". Clowney's technique is underrated because his physicality gets so much attention. Plus Dee Ford didn't get the amount of attention from opposing offenses that Clowney got. If he was being double and triple teamed every play, or chipped every play while the offense ran to the other side of the field most of the time I'm not sure his motor would've looked the same.

Turns out the medical staff told him to sit out......in other words he waits until he has a valid excuse to not work out next to the guy, then talks sh!t about him.

I don't know who he is.

  We're on the same page. I've seen this thread and bypassed it several times because I had absolutely no clue who Dee Ford was.

Back in the old days one of the cardinal rules of marketing was NEVER mention a competitor's brand and compare your product to it, because by doing so you're inadvertently admitting the competitor's product is superior... otherwise why would you compare yourself to it?

Mr. Ford obviously wasn't a business major.

First off, they're friends. It's obvious there was no vitriol. Second, Dee wasn't told not to workout until late last night after his physical. He just has to wait until the pro day.
