Yep, I read it. The only thing that keeps my confidence up is that it was 2 years ago and the players involved have already gotten punished.
Also, 2 million seems a little excessive.

i was reading nafoom to get the om position on the matter, and some guy said that its typical to do this when you are trying to build a case....you send a guy to shrinks, dr, ets to provide a paper trail to prove the distress.  could be bs, i dunno.

Once again, as I said in the "As The SECTalk Magnolia State Thread Turns" thread, when a reputable sports site such as ESPN reports this, then I will be slightly worried. As of now, all is well. *

*That being said, best to go ahead and post this pre-emptively, if ESPN decides to report said story:

And just to point out to our fellow Ole Miss alum, @shamoan, I believe he said a show of force should be taken against these assholes and their reprehensible actions. Such occurred:

I really do agree in some ways. I would prefer it to never make it to the media circuit. However, it would get out to the media. We have a huge journalism school, and a lot of out of state would-be journalists. This kind of thing would be spread with or without the universities involvement. So if they just didn't respond to it and the AP got hold of it, it would look like we are actively trying to cover up the acceptance of racism on campus.

That's just how I see it. It's kind of a damn if you do, damned if you don't kind of situations. This stuff really pisses me off. There is a small contingent of Old South racists at Ole Miss(I'm looking at you KA) and these actions make the rest of us look stupid.

This isn't limited to Ole Miss though. I've lived in Mississippi my entire life, and I know Ole Miss racists, State racists, Delta State racists, Southern Miss racists, and Millsaps racists. I thing these demonstrations are focused at Ole Miss because, like it or not, Ole Miss and Mississippi were the bastion of racists during the civil rights era. I can honestly say, the majority of the campus has great race relations, but loud, stupid, vocal minority will always taint the reputation of the rest of us.

I was a KA at State and I take offense to that.

This definitely happened. I remember hearing about it around that same time frame. I took a class with some KA's who told me about it. I just never realized how bad it was. I know Ford Everret, I may have to give him a call and see what he says about this.

Already gotten punished? This is like the Jeremy Hill case, if they are guilty, they aren't punished until they are put up to a team vote.
