I thought the finale was good, especially the climax I had to close my eyes Lol! But overall the build up midway through the season left me somewhat deflated the last few episodes. Plus I thought they needed about 15 more minutes to tie up some loose ends we are just supposed to assume are OK.

Basically my thoughts as well.   Loved the Carcosa sequence, and overall a solid finale.   By the end of episode 5 I was thinking this could rival my favorite TV seasons.  Didn't quite get there, but still great TV and look forward to seeing what they do with season 2.
