Rebs win on a walkoff vs ULM. Great job fighting until the end, pitching was solid except for one inning, batting was the problem but they came through in the ninth when it mattered. Good win.

Wil Crowe will likely move to Saturday starter if he keeps pitching the way he has been so far. He gets a taste of better talent this week and am excited to see how he does Sunday in hostile territory

Not a huge surprise there, ULL is a pretty good team.

So what're y'all's thoughts on the upcoming series fellow SC fans? I think the chumps probably back into one. Don't think they'll take the series.

Oh yeah, all hail the #1 team in the ESPN power rankings!

Allen 2
Overbey 4
Orvis DH
Bortles 3
Woodman 9
Robinson 6

Ellis 1.

Agree.  I don't think we'll sweep 'em, but I expect us to take 2 of 3, which is what we've done the last several years if I'm not mistaken.

have some rain and possibly some winter weather moving in this weekend so we're playing a double header tomorrow, because Sunday looks like a washout.
south Alabama coming to town. They've dropped a couple games early, but they are usually a good team.

Trey Killian is making his first start tomorrow, after sitting out the first 6 games because the NCAA is goddamn retarded.

Been to some big games at the 'new' stadium, but this will be my first Clemson game since the Sarge.   2 out of 3 seems right for the weekend, but I still need to read up on Clemson's squad this year.   Most seem to think this is their best squad in a few yrs, but we'll see.   Just hope we have lots to cheer tonight.

Can't wait to watch Crowe pitch at Clemson too.   Sounds like his personality is perfect for the challenge.  Either way it'll be a great primer for SEC play.

Hogs up 4-0 on South Alabama after 1 inning. We'll see how they respond. Maybe S. Bama is down this year

edit: 9-1 after 3. S.A. sucks.

I actually think we'll sweep them.....but if they do win one I expect it to be the Sunday game because we won't have any pressure on us and it'll be up in clemson.

I haven't watched any games yet, so I'm excited about taking the opportunity to get to know this years squad this weekend. I'm expecting big things.

Aside from our absolutely dominating pitching staff last year, this team is a lot more fun to watch. Scrappy.

was really hoping a sweep of South Alabama would be an RPI booster down the line, but all signs so far point to them being pretty awful this season. Dammit. At the time we scheduled it was our toughest OOC series.

Up 10-1 in the 5th and still threatening.

Tonight's game will be a good one to watch: USC's and Clemson's Aces going at it toe-to-toe. So far our pitching has been superlative but the opposition hasn't been that great. Clemson's offense is again looking a bit mild, so we'll see. I also expect a 2-1 victory for USC - it will be a huge test for young Wil in Clemson - but would love a sweep. Let's go!!
