We got better than we deserved IMO so the team and staff are probably thankful. Wouldn't be surprised if we are hosting just for our ball park haha

I think Rambo in the movie would have been more well adjusted at the ballpark.

flipped our rotation last minute.
Oliver starting tomorrow to (hopefully) match Killian up against UVA on Saturday. After that who knows

I don't like it. Oliver has the best stuff. He has the better chance to shutdown UVA

I'll disagree. I think Killian is the best pitcher we have. Oliver can be dominant, but he loses control quite a bit and can also put a lot of guys on base.

Oliver has been better the last month. Almost unhittable. Killian will give up 2 runs. With your offense and Virginias bats I'd prefer to trot the guy out there that has the best chance of putting a zero on the board

It's one of the most relevant pitcher terms there is.

Killian has been rock steady all season. He's a victim of virtually no run support.

Killian and Oliver both give up about 1.7 runs per SEC start, not including the SEC tournament. Oliver's issue is he has twice the walks allowed. A team like UVA, who is very patient at the plate and takes a lot of pitches, would require Oliver to be on his A game to win. Killian locates well and fills the strike zone. I think its a good move.

And if we can get out to a solid lead early against Liberty, it would allow us to pull Oliver early and maybe use him again later in the weekend if we needed to. Although that would require us scoring lots of runs early.
