UK headed to Louseyville. Also drew Kansas. Another opportunity to whip the Tards and Gayhawks. Delightful.

@GoldenRebel (sorry, quote feature won't work)

All I'm saying is I don't understand how teams get upset that they have to play other good teams in the postseason.

You are missing the consistency issue.  It's one thing to be like damn we got a bad draw this year.  But when several teams seem to get the toughest regionals every year for a 3-8 year time span, it gets frustrating.

But yea, your not getting an auto invite to Omaha.  All teams left are good teams.  Some are just tougher than others.  And record or regular season performance is not always an indicator of this.

I'll agree that Arkansas gets screwed every year, but it's hard to feel bad about it when y'all underperform during the regular season on a pretty regular basis. Probably there are just too many Texas teams to stick into local regionals.
I think this is the best kind of screw job though. Virginia is really good at pissing themselves in the postseason and I'll pick Arky to come out of that region.

I've made our argument and posted articles previously on our "underperformance" of this year. It is what it is. Never expected to be anything other than a 2 seed this year, even from the beginning of the season. But we get sent to some pretty random places pretty constantly.
A few years ago, when we should have hosted but got shipped to Tempe, AZ really sticks out to me. Especially since they awarded AZ State a host spot when they were supposed to be banned from the postseason, but successfully appealed it to the next year when they would be in the middle of probation/rebuilding.

The regional is winnable for us, but it'll be tougher now that we're pretty certain Beeks won't be able to start. Probably out of the pen only, MAYBE can start if we make it to Supers.

But Liberty isn't a pushover either. They were in hosting consideration until about a week or so left in the season.

I just generally hate your baseball team because you always screw up my pick 'ems.
I'll pick you to win that regional and you guys will most likely go 0-2 as soon as click "submit".

I'm pretty sure Van Horn has pissed off someone who has some degree of power.  I have a feeling he pisses a lot of people off.

His style does drive me crazy at times, I tend to scream 'throw a Posted Imagein strike!' at least 20 times a game, but there is no doubt he is the best coach in any sport we have on the hill.

I don't know any, but it would frustrate me knowing a coach that good with a roster that good rarely gets me a host site.
