Well, it looks like the process of trying to find our post-season starters is still a competition; it sure as hell won't be Whitson.

Walks the bases loaded to start the game; then a 2-run single and a 3-run homer for a 5-run deficit. Bring in a reliever, and catcher throws 3rd strike into right field. VU capitalizes on error by hitting another 3-run homer. 8-0 VU. Now 14-0.

Out of the game and lost the series all in the 1st freaking inning. What is it Calipari said all year? That's what happens with freshmen? I'll add my own little gem... that's what happens with unprepared freshmen.

It's sweep day. Beautiful day at Baum. I was in a box last night, but am back in the Hog Pen with my people today. Started our tailgate at 9. Brought our chairs in when the gates opened and claimed our normal spot at the front in left field. Back in the parking lot now for another toddy or two.
Last game of the year at Baum, unless something crazy happens

FIRE MATT LUKE!!!!

Never remember the 22nd of November,

the day Ole Miss football flopped.
The rest of the season still gives good reason
but yesterday should always be forgot.

Still waiting to get in the rubber match in Baton Rouge today, the SEC has waived the 4pm curfew. So Bama and LSU may be playing into the night.

We'll need to win the Vandy series to have a shot at a national seed.  Either way it's always nice when you can add arguably your best pure hitter back into the lineup after missing almost all of the SEC season.   Schrock looked just fine running the bases this weekend.   Holbrook said he's still going to be dealing with soreness, but so far so good.

If we can get Bright back and have him at least 80% at the plate, the offense could really be rejuvenated for a run.

After a long two days of #Bianca'ing, the Rebels beat UGA 2-1 today to take the series.

@adfalcon @GoldenRebel: We seriously need @The Doctor to talk some sense into Bianca.

We just got dealt yesterday. Dude was lights out and hitting 98 on the gun throughout the game. Couldn't touch it. Today we crushed everything right to him. Bianca has been doing alright but he usually does until the postseason
