They are built perfectly for Omaha if they make it

Same as every team they've ever had that made it there.

I'm not sure who will win it all, but I'd put down some good money on it not being FSU.

Yep, 1 game closer to a title. Shore pitched a gem; went 7 1/3 innings, 2 hits, 8 K's, and 2 walks... threw 101 pitches and 71 of them were strikes.

Poyner closed it out well too; faced 5 batters, struck out 3 of them and allowed no hits or walks... 14 of his 17 pitches were for strikes.

F$U is better than getting swept by us, but they are a borderline Omaha team, imo.

It's funny; I've heard a few commentators and analysts talk recently about teams being perfectly built for Omaha; but they weren't talking about FSU, they were talking about us... because with the new bats and large park, big hitting clubs aren't the favorites anymore; teams that play small ball and can manufacture runs, sometimes creatively, are the teams to watch.

Logan Shore is the man. I thought Whitson might step up reclaim the ace title this year but I am very pleasantly surprised in Shore

We hit for power, pitch well, and do small ball well.
Beat that.

I'd like Ole Miss in the postseason more than UF right now. But it all comes down to who you're matched up with in the regionals and Supers.

We defy logic, but South Carolina has done that for years.
I keep thinking it can't last, but it keeps going.

We are about to be SEC Champions with a weekend rotation of True Freshman, TBA, TBA and not in the top half of the SEC in any offensive categories.

I kept scratching my head on how Florida is about to win the SEC but last night I saw Shore pitch and that explains a lot.  I think he is right there with Nola maybe better since he is a freshman.  You can't just go by stats because you have a team in the middle of most stats leading the SEC in wins and a team like Georgia thats stats are so bad in every aspect of their game yet they have found a way to win 9 conference games and are playing better down the stretch.

That was one of his best outings of the season, no doubt.
I think he has 7 wins during SEC play now.

People hate O'Sullivan, but he is a damn good coach.

This series against Georgia scares me, actually. WE'll be lucky to get three games in with the weather and they are playing good ball right now

We can agree to disagree on this one.
