Baum is probably a top 5 stadium right now. And we are about to expand/renovate again. Never ends

Well, they had about 4100 show up for the 1st game when UF and Bama were meeting as #1 and #2 in the SEC.
After the game 1 loss, they still showed up on Saturday with about 4200 in attendance.
But by today they only had 3600 show up, and where they hid them I don't know; because every time I caught a glimpse of the stands they were scattered all over the place and it looked like there were about 3 dozen folks there.

Lol, alright. College baseball is what it is.
It's been because of the stadium, pretty boring atmosphere. As a kid/teen I loved it like most, now it's meh. Still doubt it will bring much...but some excitement around a new stadium can only help. Bama had a pretty big following in their good years under Wells, dropped off near the end.

Can be said for most schools, but definitely true here. Football has spoiled us, again.
Excitement over a new(ish) design will help though. It's the recruiting that needs the help, and that's always limited.

Its a hobby till football. If we're top 10 then cool, if not then whatever

We rarely put 4000 people in the stands, and we've been plenty successful.
But I remember when I lived in Gainesville, there was just so much else to do that going to watch a baseball game was pretty far down on the list... I was usually headed to the beach on Saturday, followed by golf on Sunday.
Seems like the same holds true for other Florida teams. FSU is always a powerhouse, and they only average about 5000 per game. Miami has 4 NC's, and has made every NCAA tourney since 1973; and they average fewer than us... less than 3000 per game.

Gamecocks are missing 5 or 6 starters I believe.
4. Including our best hitter.
Im not going to be one to use that for excuses though like some would to make themselves feel better that their program is not very good.
We should be able to recruit well enough to be able to win a series at Georgia even with all the injuries. But our starting pitching is the worst its been in many years and our fielding percentage is pathetic. Its our fault we suck. Not the injuries.

We do very well for the joke of a stadium we have.

To secure a national seed. Just my opinion but I think 19 SEC wins is enough this year
