It's too bad that 3 out of 4 of those might as well be impossible.

Agreed, I don't see a lot of sweeping going on in those matchups... AU could conceivably take 2 of 3 from MSU with it being @ AU.

"On paper", with the way next weekend's schedule is laid out, it is possible for 4 teams including Arkansas to be in a 4 way tie for first in the West division. 3 sweeps would have to take place for this to happen.

Here is the scenario:
Arkansas sweeps Ole Miss
Florida sweeps Alabama
Texas A&M sweeps LSU
Auburn takes 2 of 3 from MSU
Arkansas, Alabama, Ole Miss and A&M would all be tied for 1st.

And, If MSU takes 2 of 3 from Auburn, there would be a 5 way tie for 1st including MSU, all at 13-11. LSU would be a half game back.
If that happened I would flip out, after a sweep on the road too

Injuries part of the game we love to play, god has a plan for everyone & with that plan come obstacles. Keep your faith & jump the hurdle!

its not going to. Just an interesting breakdown of how things could possibly go.

I'm still pissed at our weather guys. We could have played on Sunday instead of two Saturday. If we had done so I believe we win on Sunday. Tough to sweep double headers.

Idk what it is about double headers but it seems like the same team almost always wins both

Auburn has our number, for whatever reason. Still think we win if we had played Sunday instead of 2 on Saturday. But we almost got swept.

Need to get at least 1 at Ole Miss and sweep either Mizzou or aTm. But we have to win both of those series.

Why does Arkansas have no hitting ever?
Seems like they've had elite pitching for a decade.

hard to say really. Van Horn definitely placed an emphasis on pitching a couple years before the bat change. its hard to argue with two trips to the CWS in that time frame, but hitting hasn't been there. Actually, up until the Auburn series this week, our bats had been pretty hot for a month or so. Seems like we either score 7-8 runs, or 1-2. Thing is, we don't even need elite hitting. Our pitching staff is such that 3-4 runs should be good enough for us to win most games we play. Better bats are coming though. Benintendi has the tools to be our first .400 hitter in years, Blake Baxendale is solid as well. IF we can get 3 or 4 guys to campus this class instead of going pro, our bats will see immediate improvement.

Bats picked a bad time to go quiet this weekend.
