Our OOC games kind of blew. But our rpi WAS 74. We jumpedaround 20 spots after splitting the first two games with Vandy.

We aren't going to host a regional. I just want us to be a good 2 or 3 seed somewhere

Have to remember that it's not just your play and record that affects your RPI, but also the current play of past opponents; meaning if those lousy OOC teams keep losing, they keep dragging your RPI down, just like if they were winning it'd strengthen your RPI.

I looked up some of them, and it's not hard to tell who's drowning y'all...

Grambling - 12-25, #300 RPI out of 302
MVSU - 3-29, #296 RPI
Tulane - 15-22, #188 RPI
Eastern Illinois - 11-27, #178 RPI
Appalachian State - 14-22, #176 RPI
South Alabama - 17-21, #122 RPI
San Francisco - 18-20, #116 RPI

I'm sure you do, but your post seemed to suggest maybe you hadn't kept up with some of those early OOC teams' records since you played them... so I posted their current records and RPI so you could see that their ongoing sucktitude is what's holding y'all back as far as RPI.

Thankful for that. I just have issues with the rpi formula in general I guess. This year more than most, I've been monitoring our rpi like crazy
