:lanekiffin:ing bullPosted Image man. I hate thurs series. Doubt I even make the trip up. It's not worth it just to see one game.

Attendance will be decent but not what it could have been. I know a bunch of regular attendees not going. Thanks espn
Still going for the Saturday game, but I agree, I hate Thursday series with a passion.

If somehow by the grace of god we beat Nola I may find my way up there but in all honesty my body needs a break. I've been all over the place the last month. And double decker is the next week I believe

Whoever gets to three runs first will win that first game, if Ellis can at least pitch like he did vs MSU.

Since you get them at home and not at Alex Box, maybe Nola won't get an extra 5-6 inches on each corner. Because he sure as hell did Friday night.

We now have the No.1 SOS.

It's #2 this morning, with Stanford's being #1; but Stanford is also 12-16.

We did take over the #1 RPI spot though.

That's the standard down there.  I personally know an all american pitcher that said anytime you went to BR the strike zone fluctuated with the score.  If lsu were losing the strike zone would be about the size of a volleyball.

It was bad enough that the LSU fans in my section were talking about it. Long time season ticket holders that were commenting on how lopsided the strike zone gets for Nola. Killian got squeezed especially hard the first 3 innings. The runs they scored in those ended up being the difference in the game.

I feel like if anyone in the conference is going to hit Nola hard its us at home.  We have been pretty solid against guys like him so far and have some really good left handed hitters.  6 of our top 9 hitters are lefties

We'll probably be the best hitting team he has faced so far, and we have also been on fire recently offensively. Over 40 hits in that MSU series, and big offensive days in the midweek games vs Memphis and Murray State.

When we swept them in Gainesville he had a pretty good outing, but not good enough to win.

He went 8.2 innings and had 5 K's and only 1 walk and 1 hit batter, but gave up 6 hits and 2 earned runs... they leaned on him pretty hard, he ended up throwing 116 pitches.

8.2 innings, 6 hits and 2 runs..You should expect to get the win with a line like that. Trey Killian knows it doesn't work that way though.
