I know, our record is awful. It's absolutely meaningless.

Did you listen to the audio clips? Freaking heartbreaking to hear his voice tremble like that...

I just feel horrible for the guy. He's been an underdog his whole career, recovered from TJ surgery a few years ago and has been the best pitcher in the NL not named Clayton Kershaw for the last 1.5 years...and now this happens, and his career is in jeopardy.

I'm at the point where I'm tired of Spring Training. I just want to start playing these games for real.

Meds is a warrior no matter how this plays out.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Unbelievable. I don't even know what to say anymore.

Braves have had 10 Tommy John victims since 2003. No other MLB team has more than 7...and only Oakland and Boston (and us) have more than 5.

I am almost starting to think that conditioning-wise there is something we do that puts our pitchers at risk.

Well, in other news...Uggla triples, homers and drives in 3. Wood K's 6 in 5 innings, some positives to throw out there today.

Alex Wood suddenly becomes incredibly important to our fates this year. He's locked in as the No. 4 starter. Garcia/Floyd/Hale will battle it out for 5th.

It seems like every year since 2010 we've been missing someone from the rotation we expected to have. Getting really old...

If one of Minor, Teheran, Santana or Wood gets injured long-term, we are absolutely screwed. We've used our season allotment of serious injuries to the pitching rotation and it's only March 17th.

I think the guys we have right now can do just fine, but ... one more big injury....
