@Mizzou_Fan , Here's some video of him from the minors last year.

http://www.milb.com/...tommy la stella

this is a tweet from Peter Gammons from last November, just so you don't think I'm being a full-blown homer lol.

Tommy LaStella was a '11 8th rounder out of Coastal Carolina by Atlanta. Now, with a .550 OBP/g 690 slug in AFL. Now? Matt Carpenter comps

He was a baller at coastal.

Tommy La Stella is 3-3 today with two doubles. 4-6 in spring training thus far.

@GoldenRebel I know Uggla is your boy, but I really want to see this kid in the lineup, dammit. He's got Matt Carpenter-like ability at the plate.

Hey, no need to insult Braves players here!
R.I.P Philip Luzenkirchen, recipient of Neil Caudle's first career TD pass.

Yesterday, we lost to the Nationals by a score of 16-15.

Today, we ended the game tied vs the Astros...0-0 after 10 innings.

Spring Training is weird.

Considering how much TLS ohysically resembles Prado, I'm surprised @MCD hasn't laid claim to him yet.

Pena was a nice Hispanic replacement for MCD.

La Stella has a future star look to him, he's definitely our future at 2B.

No one will ever replace Marteen and to speak of such is blasphemy.  You're all gonna burn.  Sinners.

SHUT UR WHORE MOUF....DAT AZZ IS MINE !!!
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

I am already tired of Spring Training. I want us to start playing these games for real.

La Stella can sit his candy ass on the bench and watch a real superstar play 2B.

With all due respect, I don't think Pena is THAT good.
