I spend about seven innings of every game wanting to cunt punt everyone in our lineup, but the other two are usually impressively good.

I'm struggling so hard to get into it this year.  And I don't know why

Right there with you, couldn't care less.

I am feeling a bit of the same thing. It's been more of a challenge to get really into it this season. Partly because I've been busy, and thus I've watched more sporadically...but I also think it's easy to be fickle with this team, as they've played frustratingly inconsistent.

They have at least turned it around the last two weeks though. Going into the ASB all tied up with the Nats.

The talent on this team should be 5-8 games above the Nats at this point.

All got to do with my schedule. I'm often getting home between 7-730 and going to the gym/walking the dogs then cooking dinner so by that time they've finished playing already. I'm going to make an attempt to be a little more attentive to the Bravos in the second half. I keep up on my phone and what not but it's just not the same as religiously watching on tv. Being fickle with them doesn't really impact me too much, as I hate the Braves as much as I love them, always have.

Well, Dan Uggla was released today.  I know most Braves fans will celebrate and honestly, it is good news from a team perspective.  But I always liked the guy and held onto a twinge of hope that he could turn it around.  He also seemed popular in the locker room.

I think his career is over, but maybe a change of scenery could benefit him and he could churn out a couple more good years.

Great start to the second half of the season tonight. Lots of timely hits from the offense.

And the Nationals lost. Braves back in first place by themselves. Let's not look back this time.

My sig is Dan Uggla's last home run as an Atlanta Brave.

He was awful both this year and last, but that moment was one of the best of the season. Epic trolling of the Philly fans.

I hate it for the man dan Uggla, but for the player maybe it will be for the best. I hate watching great players come to end of their careers.

Still owe him 18 mil.

Mike Hampton, Kenshin Kawakami (spelling) v. 2.0

Could sort of add Derek Lowe to that mix, too. We payed him 10 mil to pitch for Cleveland in 2012.

Also, I remember when Hampton was warming up before a start (think it was in '07 or '08?), and after throwing a pitch in the bullpen he winced in pain. It was his first start back from injury. I was watching on TV with my friend and my friend was 100% convinced he was faking it just so he wouldn't have to play, lol.

Well, I'll miss Uggs. He gave us some good moments but this is a business. We can't win with that much inconsistency. We won't miss him a bit state wise, sadly.

I've been the same guys, so busy I don't get to watch games as much anymore. Always has my score updates though, so I'm in the loop on our progress daily. Great start from the break, we need to roll.
