If we were trying to preserve the no-hitter, why AVILAN? Even if Kimbrel is unavailable, Walden and Carpenter are both better at missing bats than Avilan...

Aaron Harang is going to give Fredi Gonzalez a very unexpectedly tough decision to make.

Pretty unbelievable that Aaron Harang had a no-hitter through 6 and a no-hitter through 7 in two of his first few starts as a Brave.

What decision? who to send down when minor comes back?
That's not tough at all, Hale has been rocked much more than any other of our pitchers so far.

When Floyd comes back. Hale leaving when Minor comes back is a given.

Though I don't think Hale goes to AAA. I think that'll be Schlosser, with Hale taking his spot in the pen.

Gavin Floyd is going to take either Wood's or Harang's spot in the rotation.  Still don't trust Harang's based on he played in Cincy (I'm 15 minutes from the stadium) as well as how he has struggled since then.  Short term I'm okay with Harang.  Long term?  Not so much.  I think as the season goes on we will see a much truer version of him but I hope he proves me wrong.

Floyd to the pen until Harang gives us a reason to pull him from the rotation. Hale to the pen when Minor comes back. Schlosser and Rev to AAA.

There. Problem solved.

That's what I'm thinking. Both Wood and Harang are doing so good that I don't think we need to move them out

If it's a close decision between Harang or Wood you have to go with the latter as he is the future and has a much bigger future with the Braves.

You have to keep Harang in the rotation with the way he's pitching right now.

It hasn't even been decided on whether or not we want to breed Wood as a starter or a reliever. When Harang is giving us what he has so far you don't pull him. Especially when we have no idea what Floyd will give us.

I don't care how much PTSD you've gotten from Harang, he's dealing right now.

In other news, we're one of only two major league teams with more than 10 wins and we beat the other team in a series on the road.

BJ's average is over .200 for the first time since he became a Brave.
