I'm not sure. I'll have to check with my sources, but I believe he wrote multiple LOIs. That's more than one, which is against the rules. It's against the rules to have more than one LOI.
I'm hearing he signed between 52 and 0 loi's.

What's the story, since I'm too lazy to look it up...did he simply forget that he signed previous LOI's or did he just not even bother reading what it was he was signing in the first place? This stuff doesn't happen on accident, for Pete's sake.

It's not against the rules to have more than 1 LOI.

Every school that has a chance of signing a kid sends him one just in case; so some kids might have a half dozen LOI's sitting in front of them on NSD.

What's against the rules is signing and returning more than one.

This kid is a true academician studying at 3 schools

He signed with Ole Miss, Utah, and a JUCO.  The Ole Miss LOI was first so he was bound by that.  Kid wants to go to Utah.  So we let him go.  He was a academic challenge anyways.

So glad we don't pick up kids like this. Could see him getting the hook from Nick about a week after arriving to school.

I think he was just practicing signing his name after scratching out an X for the previous 15 years.

Was goin to make a thread about this. I don't join in in either thread because I'm not gonna bash a kid for either of those reasons. But at the same time I'm not so uptight that I can't find humor in some of it as long as I'm not taking it seriously.

But I did find it odd that multiple people felt the need to defend the gay kid but no one said anything to take up for the "dumb" kid. Well...other than sheluvsbama, but that's because she's like the board mom who loves everyone.
