In response to the OP, my gut feeeling says no.  I can't see Florida turning it around that quickly from how poor they played this year.  However, I didn't see Auburn doing what they did this year based on last year either, so anything can happen.

He hasn't gone through the rigors as a full time starter yet and franklin is gone.

Thompson hasn't gone through the rigors as a full time starter yet and shaw is gone.

1. UF 9-3 (6-2)
1.. UGA 10-2 (6-2)
1. SC 10-2 (6-2)
4. ut 6-6 (3-5)
5. MO 4-8 (2-6)
6. UK 4-8 (1-7)
7. VU 4-8 (0-8)

Edit: 3 way tie for first that will come down to the final tie breaker, whatever that might be now that there is no BCS ranking. All three are 1-1 in their round robin, all three are 4-0 against the rest of the east, and all three are 1-1 against the West.

LSU is pretty good too.

Alabama and LSU are the best in the west, but several teams can come and challenge each year.

That's the way I see it.

Thompson has more experience and wins against division 1 opponents!

Forgetting head to head matchups (it was never important against the dogs when we were winning according to dog fans),  but how did our teams finish with respect to each other last season? Seems like we were #4...where was Georgia?

A little bit more, not much, and especially not "full time" as you claim. Yes, SC beat Clemson 2012 with DT as a starter, but D played a huge role in that win, and DT regressed in 2013.

He does have a point. You were way wrong about UGA vs SC, and you vanished. Team health had everything to do with SC finishing ahead of UGA.

Neither one made it to ATL, whats your point? Did SC do something of note that I missed?

And hey, its still not important to me, if beating SC keeps us out of Atlanta they can beat us every year..... just pointing out your hiatus after talking so much trash for a year. Not saying we were the better team, SC was clearly better at the end of the year
